Best store in my life . Can't believe I never knew this place before.if you like Hawaiian food or you're from Hawaii well, this is the place you can get all the local food. Even taro leave, poke bowl, spam musubi.

This store really is incredible and I simply must start doing more shopping here even just for some of the prepared meals. They are so fresh and their produce is incredible. The people are so nice and want to help which is refreshing. It is truly shocking how night and day the experience here is after going to other grocery stores. Also, if you are a person who enjoys seafood for a primary part of your diet, like me, then this REALLY is a great option for you since their fish is abundant an very fresh with a lot of different options, including frozen. Getting in and out of the store is great too - especially with the lesser used back entrance if you live more local like I do.
Food always great. Employees are very helpful. Lots of things to choose from in the store. We always go for a few things and leave with bags full spending more than we wanted. Lol. If you like kimchi, this is the best! They need to put an uwajimaya downtown Portland and Vancouver Washington.
My favorite Asian store to shop at plus being able to shop the bookstore as well.it has all my favorites and always has some new products for me to try.i can shop in the store for several hours.i always know I need to bring plenty of money cause I shop a great deal and I bring home lots of goods.
Loads of variety to choose from! Honestly they have everything you could really imagine in an Asian supermarket . Tons of snacks, seafood, meat, pre made food , etc. they even has a good selection of skincare , collectibles, and other gifts. Place felt clean and well taken care of and staff was nice. A little pricey though.
This place has everything you need. Miso? Hundreds of options. Rare Kit Kats? Yep. All the sauces in the whole world. If you're look specially for Miso Easy, they do not have that. But to be fair, I doubt that's the most authentic miso paste in the world. The hot bar is lit. Lots of yummy options for a snack -- baos and musubis. I love Uwajimaia. Would recommend coming hungry.
Great Asian market with great food court of yummy deliciousness!! Definitely try the fried pork belly and grab some poke!!! Nice selection of meats produce and seafood!! Nice staff and great facility
This review is just for the poke bowls they sell! I got a poke plate for literally 12.99. For this much food, are you kidding me?! Such a steal! The workers there are sooo nice and let me try so many things! I'd recommend the bbq salmon and ahi tuna! They not only have the green seaweed salad but also the red one too. Great place for lunch and had been a staple for me! They also have hawaiian marinated poke options as well if you want your not typical flavors :)
Tired of long lines at grocery stores? Uwajimaya is very spacious, super clean and easy to get in and out of, especially during evenings. They have the freshest seafood, fish and produce of any of the Asian markets in Oregon. Uwajimaya gets fresh shipments from Hawaii. I love the poke here. There's a vast array of different poke, cooked and raw. As you can see from the photos, the produce is super fresh. Meats tend to be Carlton Farms, quite excellent. I'm loving their live seafood tanks and fresh poke. You can find milk eggs and other staples here for a one stop shop. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. The absolute best Tofu is fresh OTA Tofu! Pair with Carlton Farms pork with your favorite Mapo sauce and you have a meal.
